My Story
How We Started
Summit Shine started out of a lifelong thing for cars, mostly the fast ones we can't afford yet, and always wanting to run something of our own. Detailing was what we kept watching videos of until we finally tried it, and it turned out we liked the part most people rush.
We stay deliberately small. Every car is done by the same person, start to finish. When we think we're finished we go round the whole thing again: the gas cap area, the door shuts, the bits nobody checks. That's usually where the extra half hour goes.
The first car we did that wasn't for family, the owner opened the driver's door and just stopped. That reaction is the thing we're actually chasing.
We come to you and work off your driveway, using your outside tap and a socket. So as long as there's room to park and water and power within reach, we can do it where the car already is.

Anyone can wash a car. We try to give yours back the way it felt the day you bought it, with a process built for how Minnesotans actually drive.
We go round it twice
When we think we're finished, we start again. The gas cap area, the door shuts, the seat rails, the bits nobody checks. That second lap is usually where the extra half hour goes.

The same person details your car start to finish. It never gets handed to whoever happens to be free, and nothing gets rushed so we can squeeze in another booking.
We'll tell you if it won't work
If a scratch needs paint correction, or a stain isn't going to come out, we'll say so instead of taking the booking and disappointing you. You get a straight answer about what's actually worth doing.

Three packages and no surprise upcharges. Whatever we confirm by text before we start is exactly what you pay at the end.
You check it before you pay
When we're done, you and we look over the car together. If anything isn't right, we fix it there and then, at no extra charge. That's the whole guarantee.
